1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern enquiries, bookings and participation in helicopter tours, scenic flights, heli treks and related services arranged by Nord Extreme (“we”, “us”, “our”). By submitting an enquiry, paying a deposit, or joining a journey, you agree to these Terms.
Our services are operated in Nepal with Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) licensed operators. Final carriage is subject to aviation regulations, weather and operational safety decisions.
2. Bookings & confirmation
- An enquiry is not a confirmed booking until we issue written confirmation and any required deposit is received.
- You must provide accurate passenger names, contact details, travel dates and any medical or mobility information relevant to the journey.
- Group size limits, aircraft type and itinerary details are confirmed in your booking confirmation and may vary for operational reasons.
3. Payments
- Prices are typically quoted per person in the currency shown on the package page, unless a private charter quote states otherwise.
- A deposit may be required to secure dates; the balance is due by the date stated in your confirmation.
- Bank charges, card fees or transfer costs may be borne by the guest unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Promotional prices apply only within the stated validity period and subject to availability.
4. Changes by the guest
- Date changes are subject to availability, operator approval and possible fare differences.
- Name changes may be allowed before ticketing/manifest finalisation; late changes can incur fees or may not be possible.
- Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Booking Policy.
5. Changes by the operator
We may modify routes, departure times, aircraft, landing points or the sequence of the itinerary when required by weather, air traffic, permits, mechanical issues, safety, or government restrictions. Where a material change affects the core experience, we will offer a reasonable alternative, a rebooking, or a refund according to the Booking Policy.
6. Weather & safety
- Mountain flying is weather-dependent. Pilots and operations may delay, divert or cancel flights when conditions are unsafe.
- Many itineraries include a buffer day for this reason. Using a buffer day is not a service failure.
- Safety decisions by the pilot-in-command and licensed operator are final.
7. Travel documents & fitness
- You are responsible for a valid passport, visas, TIMS/permits where required, and any other entry documents for Nepal and restricted areas.
- Some journeys involve altitude exposure. You should assess fitness with a medical professional if you have heart, lung, or other relevant conditions.
- We may refuse carriage where safety would be compromised.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including missed international flights, hotel nights, or other travel arrangements made independently of us. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.
Third-party suppliers (including aircraft operators, hotels and ground handlers) provide services under their own terms; we arrange and coordinate those services with reasonable care.
9. Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance (including helicopter / adventure activities, cancellation, medical evacuation and altitude-related cover where relevant) is strongly recommended and may be required for certain itineraries. Proof of insurance may be requested before departure.
10. Guest conduct
Guests must follow crew instructions, weight and baggage limits, and local regulations. We reserve the right to remove a guest from a journey without refund where behaviour endangers safety or others’ experience.
11. Privacy
Personal data provided for enquiries and bookings is used to plan and deliver your journey and to communicate with you. We do not sell your data. Contact us to update or request deletion of stored enquiry details where applicable.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Courts in Kathmandu shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence.
